Victim support and counseling

The justice system can I say - police and prosecutors were wonderful, but I think for us - victims need to yet own less talking and more listening to us. We say "šššššš", while criminals who have wronged us, "whatever you say." And I think that is unfair.

The long-term goal of the project „Restorative Justice - Victim Support and Counseling "is to gradually develop functional network of services for victims. The project is implemented by the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic (PMS) in partnership with the Association of Citizen Advice Centres (AOP). The project implementers base their victim work on the restorative justice principles that consistently involve the victims of crime in resolving the crime consequences, consider their interests and needs and make an utmost attempt to restore their feeling of safety, integrity and confidence in justice.
